OLAPLEX x Jason Wu at NYFW 2022

Watch out New York, OLAPLEX is coming! It thrills us to partner with Jason Wu during New York Fashion Week for his runway show. NYFW takes place September 9th through September 14th and is a semi-annual iconic series of events where designers showcase their new collections to the press, public, and buyers.

Jason Wu is a Taiwanese-born, leading New York-based fashion designer. He has received many awards and accolades and while he’s still early in his career, his attention to detail has earned him a place amongst fashion powerhouses. With a nod to American sportswear, Jason lends meticulous couture detail to his designs. His collection is sold globally and he dresses some of the most influential women in the world! The goal of Jason’s designs is for women to exude a modern femininity, achieved through sophisticated modern refinement.

We are honored to be a part of his New York Fashion week show where OLAPLEX will be used every step of the way of the hair process. The models will grace the runway with healthier hair than before, with the glamor and sophistication Jason Wu is known for.

As part of their career, being subjected to heat styling and looks that pull the hair and cause breakage are the norm for models. We want to change the norm from damaged to healthy! We’re excited to give their hair a chance to rebuild and strengthen with OLAPLEX for Jason Wu’s show. The before and afters will be prime examples of an #OLAFLEX—in fact, we’re excited to create content to show you just how strong OLAPLEX makes the hair even after one treatment.
